Nope. The gear ratios are shorter and the it has a high final drive. 4.4 ---> 4.7

Only the 98+ JDM ITR has the 4.785 final drive.

a boosted car I'd much rather have a ls trans for the longer gears.

No, the USDM ITR is different from the GSR.

No. the b16 tranny is the same exact thing as ALL the USDM Itr tranny minus the lsd.

for an All Motor setup you cant go wrong with a b16 tranny....im using a JDM b16 tranny (y1 to be exact)with my GSR and i pulled away from my friends b16 hatch with LS tranny at the local track by like 2/3 cars....and were both good drivers.

i have a b16 tranny with aftermarket LSD works great. depending on what the plans for the car are you might wanna keep the gsr tranny. i have been thinking about buying one just so my gears arnt so frickin short lol
