which tranny is better?

i bought a 95 ls and i found out later that it came with a gsr tranny, and right now i beat gsr's and idk how, but i was wondering if i put a type-r tranny will i be even faster?

You'll definitely notice a difference in acceleration. Plus gear ratios and final gear will definitely show the difference when you're racing.

just get a b16 tranny (same as USDM itr minus lsd).

or else get the JDM itr tranny with 4.785 final drive.

how will it be? well, if you do a lot of highway driving, be prepared to roll 65 and be at 4500 rpms.

Nope. The gear ratios are shorter and the it has a high final drive. 4.4 ---> 4.7
