stock is 14s or 15s. and thats totally wrong. if you get a tire that is similar in diameter, it wont affect anything.Originally posted by "sleeperintegra"
anything larger than stock is gonna mess ya up. stick with 15s and 16s
well scuuuuuuse me. what i meant is, anything larger than stock size sucks (meaning 18+). so hush.Originally posted by "Eviloliv3"

id say a good size for our cars are either the 205/50/15s or 215/45/16s. if you want a meaty tire go with the 205s, and if you want a somewhat show and somewhat go wheel, go with the 215 size
sorry.Originally posted by "Eviloliv3"
its just your opinion that it sucks
i have 18s on mine they look pretty good but they do slow u down.its up to u if u want to look good or go fast. but they dont make that much of a diffrence.95integra said:Hey, I'm buying rims like in the next few weeks and i need some opinions on what size i should get. I'm thinking of 18s or 17s. What do you guys think? what would you recomend? are 18s too big for an integra are they gonna slow down my car? let me know.
thanks
Wanna explain to me how you came to that conclusion because I beg to differ.slikk said:95/60/14 and 215/40/17 have the same diameter the only difference is the contact area and weight
maybe my calculations are incorrect,mist3r Lin said:Wanna explain to me how you came to that conclusion because I beg to differ.
but by your theory the tires should have just about the same diametermist3r Lin said:Calculating the Tire DiameterNow that we know what these numbers mean, we can calculate the overall diameter of a tire. We multiply the tire width by the aspect ratio to get the height of the tire.
Tire height = 205 x 50 percent = 102.5 mm (4.04 in)
Then we add twice the tire height to the rim diameter.
2 x 4.04 in + 15 inches = 23.08 in (586.2 mm)
I totally agree. Worry about anything bigger after you've done modifications to the car.Nd4sped said:Anything over 16's is gonna hurt your stock acceleration times...
