What octane you use?

i paid 2.91 at a no name gas station for 93

If I fill half my tank with Shell V-Power gas and the other half with Chevron with Techron gas will I have V-TEC gas?

i have a 00 gs and i use 89. honda says to use 86 or higher (they dont sell 86) but with all of the aditives the gas companys use it can reduce the octane rating so you may be pumping 87 in your car the octane rating is reduced so 87 could be around 85 or 84 depinding on your area thats why i use 89. with the reduction on 89 it may be right at 87 or so. (thats why you see the old car guys using octane booster)
