J13 sooo mad
You want a more racey feel with something thats safe, then get something fixed back. Those can be had for cheap, most are DOT approved, and they wouldnt break in the event of an impact (unless it was extremely hard impact). Do not do a harness bar on the street, do a rollbar, especially with harnesses.Well as far as that pad in the back. I am pretty sure its removable. Because the product number is the same as the one of the website. The one on the website isn't pictured with the padding.

I am not sure if it is DOT approved though.
All I was looking for was a seat that was decent and added a more "race feel" to my car. I want to add harness bar and harness.
I also never recline my seats that are in my car. So i am not sure if the not being able to recline factor would bother me.
And for the trustworthiness of Andys auto sport. I see advertisements in my import tuner magazine.
The issue you will face with harnesses with no rollbar is that if you get into a rollover accident, you cannot be ejected under your belt like you can with a stock safety belt. Therefore you run the risk of breaking your neck. Same for your passenger.
If you can throw in a grand or so for the extra safety, I'd say get Recaro Speeds!
They're basically a newer/better version of the old Recaros used in the Type R.

Ill vouch for both SRD's and Speeds as Ive had both. they are comfy and worth the money.
