I do prefer a gutted rear for now. Since I got my drop and everything has gotten much louder, I'm wondering how much of a difference it would make, for sound deadening, if I replaced my rear interior

no I really dont lol. the only person that texts me all day is the gf, which i guess shes all i need... but why would your back split in 2 in an accident??

they seem alright.. but when you go to the carpet mat section, all they have are universal mats.. that makes me sway away, but thats just me lol

your back wouldnt split in 2, but your seat, depending on the force of the collision would more than likely not hold up and would buckle.

Theres a reason why recaros and the like are so expensive. It is because they are DOT approved, and legal for road use. All these JDM fanboys seem like they could care less about the safety for themselves, and their passengers. As long as the seats look cool in their car thats all that matters.

Do you and your family and friends a favor and get decent seats, and if you go with harnesses, run a roll bar to be safe.

Corbeau makes good looking seats that arent all that expensive as well.

I'm repping you for safety precautions. I can speak from experience when I crashed my rx8. I hit backwards so hard, I BROKE my driver seat.





I love old school muscle cars and almost bought one from 1965, but after my accident, I'm worried about bench seats with no head rests. If i had the same crash again, my neck would snap backwards and break and I'd be dead. Its a scary thought for me.. Please make a good thoughtful decision.

Well as far as that pad in the back. I am pretty sure its removable. Because the product number is the same as the one of the website. The one on the website isn't pictured with the padding.

I am not sure if it is DOT approved though.

All I was looking for was a seat that was decent and added a more "race feel" to my car. I want to add harness bar and harness.

I also never recline my seats that are in my car. So i am not sure if the not being able to recline factor would bother me.

And for the trustworthiness of Andys auto sport. I see advertisements in my import tuner magazine.
