Upgrading just the Muffler worth it?

Dont you have to hacksaw off the old one to put that on tho? Im thinking bout just picking up an axle back, that way if I need to switch it back for any reason (California smog requirements) I can do so. I do like the way the CF look tho.

Theirs like alot off mufflers here for cheap! so i might just get one until later on what size do i need? to fit onto the stock piping the diameter*
