Those cheap Wal-mart xplod speakers, how are they?

They're crap.... Not good quality or sound (I'm a sound system junkie though so I'm biased). Honestly I would stay away from that stuff but if you're feeling like going cheap with it you can't beat the price

if you want to throw you $$$$ in the trash go to walmart for parts for your vehicle

order from here, they got some good prices. some brands i would go with that arent too expensive for mids/highs kicker, alpine, power bass, audio pipe, pioneer

does anyone have a set or pair of Alpine Type-S SPS-600 (not the SPS-600c)? is that good at all?

could anyone compare that with the Kenwood KFC-P709PS and the Polk Audio db651

check craigslist, I see brand new Alpine and JL stuff in my area quite a bit. Some one was selling a full car Alpine set up with head unit, speakers, and subs for 400! Thats a good deal!

I already checked. nothing good in my area.

I got a Pioneer package from Wal-Mart for $85. It came with a head unit and 4, 6.5" speakers. I gave the head unit to my friend, I don't use the speakers.

They sound fine to me..

I try to stay away from that cheap stuff too, you only get what you pay for, if you turn them up loud they usually sound terrible so the extra cash is worth spending!
