Younger guys who think they know my job better than me. Sorry dude but your two years experience doesn't quite add up to my 7. I'm damn good at what I do! That's why I was chosen over 12 others to be elected into the steersman's program.
I've never really talked about my job in detail on here but I'm a mate on a tow boat. Been doing it for 7 years on the mississppi river and was recently given the oppertunity of a life time (mine at least) to be in the steersman program. It's not something company's just hand out to anybody any if you pay youself it's not cheap. Who would pass up free schooling? Not this guy!

I hate ppl like that to bro, snake ass motherf#@#ers, they piss me off, its like grow a set and say it to the persons face, also patsy sounds like she needs her chin checked lolLong rant. But worth the read.
I didn't think this would annoy me but it has been since this morning.
I work at a hotel, their is five of us that work at the front desk. And their is a breakfast lady, her name is Patsy, that comes in around 5am to make make the breakfast and clean up the lobby/bathroom. Well when I works night she comes in a complains about a lot of stuff. And during her complaining she talks shiit about almost everybody. Their is this Philippian lady, Malou, that is part of the front desk crew and she comes in at 7am when I get off.
The schedule goes like this: I work 11pm-7am, Malou works 7am-3pm, and Patsy works 5am-12noon.
Out of all the people that Patsy talks shiit about. She hates on Malou the most. About every little thing. And she is always complaining to the manager about any little thing that is wrong.
NOW NON OF THIS WOULD NORMALLY BOTHER ME BUT.......
The things that Patsy b****ing about has nothing to do with. Her only job is to come in make breakfast and clean up before maintenance gets here. She always up in front desk business and complaining about front desk when she does not have to. She is worrying about the front desk schedule and why this person has more hours and she worrying about how this person works and she is going back and telling the manager. She talks about the maintenance crew, and she talks about the house-keeping crew.
And the other thing is she talks shiit about Malou and everybody to me even though I don't respond back. (She is kinda old, in her 50s I think, and she likes to talk. Even if you don't respond back she never gets the hint that you not in the mood to talk, its like 5am and I've been here all night. I just want some quiet)
The way she talks about Malou, I was under the impression that she doesn't like Malou and doesn't talk to her. but this morning Malou is telling me about the shiit Patsy is telling her about the other staff. Which means Patsy is two faced for talking bad behind Malou's back then smiling in her face. and she is basically doing it to everyone.
We are allowed to eat breakfast when we work, but some times I don't feel like eating so early. So I grab two boxes of cereal to eat when I get home. Well Malou told me that Patsy said something about that to the manager. But the thing is, I'm allowed to do that if im working.
And this really pisses me off because the people I work with here have been the best working crew I have ever had in any of my jobs. They are super nice and are willing to help you out as much as they can. Everyone messes up on some things every now and again but not enough to talk shiit about them behind their backs. Especially when they are not in your department and their errors do not effect you or your job in anyway.
I just hate two faced people that smile in your face and talk about you when you not there.

Thats sweet actually! School is so much money. I have about half of what I'll need right now. I'm not taking a loan unless i absolutely have to.

The schooling is expensive! I would have to take off work to go. It's only a one month schooling but I have 3 mouths to feed other than my own, mortgage, bills, bills, and more bills. I can't afford to do that on my own. With the company paying for it, I also get paid to go. Just as if I was going to work. I will have to sign a contract pretty much saying that when I get my license I won't just take them and run. I'll have to be committed to the company for 3 years or I will have to pay that money back. 3 years won't kill me! Lol

I hate being sick. I'm actually afraid to get out of bed now. I woke up this morning and was somewhat cold, all wheezy, throat restricted- similar to an allergic reaction. So I bundled the fuck up and slept. Woke up breathing normally, but I know that when I go outside I will freeze and start getting all stuffy again. 50 degrees outside right now.. I have somebody coming by to buy firewood from me, and I have work to do out in the shop.

I would if I was closer. Do it yourself, its easier than you thinkWhen you know your alternator is about to crap out on you.
Hopefully i can find someone to do it by monday.

no sure how it is on the civic but all i did was unbolt my brake booster and left all the lines attatched then just wiggle the alternator out after i got it unbolted. ALOT easier than taking off the fr wheel and all that jazz.When you know your alternator is about to crap out on you.
Hopefully i can find someone to do it by monday.

@Pinkley, he's rocking a Civic. I think they have different placement. On the Accord I have it's right where the Integra's power steering is. I wonder if it's that easy on a Civic?
Also, you don't have to unbolt your master cylinder in the Integra. Jack up the car and unbolt the three bolts holding the axle to the engine, you can then wiggle the alternator past the axle without removing anything except those three bolts. Good tip for the future.
