pads might help too. I think you went hard on the brakes because they started to fade, so you may have wanted to brake hard so you didnt run into the wall. Upgrading things like that will add to your confidence. And experience will help with mistakes like that.10 is a tricky corner.

This was the second run of the day. I spun out at turn 11. Not the run I ripped off my front lip.

Yeah I plan on changing brakes soon. I've been thinking about the Hawks HP+ for awhile. Also, better tires for my ITR wheels and use those for the track because if anything happens to those, it wont hurt as bad. LOL

So how are those federal 595 rsr tires? They have a pretty good deal for those right now

Just imagine how I felt when I was riding on the flat.. My heart literally just sanked. I died and came back to life when I stepped out to find my wheels okay. LOL

sooo...two hands on the wheel at pretty much all time. notice how much you have only one hand on the wheel vs me.

Yeah, I noticed that. I think street driving habits are too strong right now. I need to get use to driving with two hands.

its a habbit thats hard to break. it would have helped you at 11.That corner is tricky. You can take it wide like i do, and that helps you from keeping it so tight. Next time we will throw one of your seats in my car for a session.

More good news! So I went to get that one tire replaced today.

Well actually I forgot to state that at the track that after I filled the tire up with air and pop the bead back in, I asked the worker to spin the wheel on the balancing machine and it looked a little off.

But as I got a new tire today, and when the worker put the wheel on the balancing machine. It wasn't off too bad and didnt need that much weights. So my RG's isn't warped from that wreck. :thumbs up :)

So I gotten around to repairing my front lip and respraying my front bumper, lip, and rear valences as well. I tried to get everything done within a 2 day period because its the only days I'm off; given that body work and paint is very time consuming. I somewhat skipped some steps and didn't prep my front bumper or front lip to my expectations. Although, I am still can't complain because it is still better than before. I will eventually re-do it again in the future.

Before.

For the front lip, how I repaired it was the same method I used for my front bumper when I shaved off that stupid license plate box. What most people don't know how difficult that is, is that the license plate not only bulges out but is also hollow behind the box area. So I had to cut out that boxy area and re plastic weld it back on then shape it to form.

I plastic welded with polyurethane and tried to shape it as much as possible but it is still kind of wavy. I need to spend some more time on it.
