Best experience is buy some racing slicks and put them on a spare set of wheels. I took my M3 to Mid-Missouri Raceway for the first time on slicks and it was simply amazing. I couldn't even corner as fast as possible because I couldn't stay in the seat.
Man I would love to take a M3 to a track... the ultimate driving machine :D

It was the fastest thing I had out there. H&R Coilovers with other mods, thing pulled over 1g easy.

I LOVE the feeling of driving fast and sliding around turns because yoru going too fast and you dont know if your car will catch so you tap the brakes and it sticks and you floor it seconds after continuing down the hill or on the track :D!!! TIS LEGIT!!

Braking must be done in a straight line. Never brake during a corner if possible.

buddy of mine got 4 gently used hoosiers from Great America for last season... those tires were like driving on glue in his EG. Chasing down basically everything on the track. haha

Not bad for a free set of tires. :thumbs up

I ran hoosiers and they really aren't that expensive compared to street tires.

Everyone always is in to downhill togue with asian imports but I always liked racing up hill. I guess everyone races downhill because most don't have any power.

HAHAHA this is true... i dont think its the power were down on necessarily... its torque.

I'd like to know what kind of g-forces I could pull in the GSX. I know I could hit over 1g, especially with the way my suspension and differentials are dialed in now. Plus 265 BFG Gforce R1, JIC Magic coilovers and adjustable arms and sway bars helps.

DOT slicks are cheaper than R-compound street tires. That's why I switched. The 235/40 ADVAN A048 I used to run cost a hair more than the 265/35 Gforce R1

Uphill with no torque doesn't seem like much fun LOL.

I like to going uphill and downhill. Both are just as fun to me.

I wonder how much G-force I can pull too. Slicks are cheaper than R-compounds? I can get NT01s for $120/tire. And I can get g-Force R1s for about $180/tire. I don't know, but I think R-compounds are cheaper.

Yeah. Mistake I made when I was first driving spirited driving.
It's all good. Nobody is perfect.

Stock and I Like It.
If you plan to do any autocrossing with your car, you can't use slicks in SCCA classes, unless you're running a Modified class, and that's not going to be very much fun for you.

However, you can run R-Compounds in any class except Street Touring and Street Modified.

I'm running G-Stock this year, on a set of 205/50ZR15 Kumho Ecsta V710s. I'm also picking up a set of the Kumho Ecsta XS. Tire contingency FTW. The Hoosier A6 is a great tire, but the Kumho wears better in my experience. The Kumho is about 99.5% as sticky as the Hoosier and about lasts about twice as long, especially on a light car like an Integra.

My performance driving mantra is actually taken from college basketball coaching legend John Wooden. "Be quick, but don't hurry." I say that to myself shortly before getting to the start line--reminds me to be patient where I need to be, and aggressive where I can be.

My full GS setup is this though...

Koni Sport shocks/struts
Kumho Ecsta XS or V710 tires (depending on weather, the V710s don't stick worth a crap in the rain)
Brembo Rotors
Hawk HP Plus pads
Oil pressure gauge
Optima dry cell battery

I've got a line on a nice looking bolt-in roll bar, but I don't want to attract THAT much attention on the street....I'd really only use it as a harness bar anyways...
