My GST doesn't launch! lol

It will just smoke down my RT615's. It's like: ease the clutch out at 3k, half throttle through 1st, quick shift second hold half throttle and pedal it up to 3/4ths. then just rock third gear with a little wheel spin. I'd rock some ADVANs like I used to but I don't feel like replacing them that often anymore
I smoked my RT-615s launching against my best friend's CL9. I need to get another set soon. They're getting pretty bald. Lol!

^wait? so you have a 500 hp gsx and how much power is the gst putting down? i mean if i cant even get power to the ground thats got to be quite a bit...
The GST probably has more torque than horsepower. It doesn't take much to spin the tires on a FWD car, physics is against you. I'd say maybe 280-300. It's tuned way less than it's capable of because it's my daily. It's a 2.3L 4G63 with 9.3:1 compression and a EVO3 16G. It spools instantly and makes launching difficult.

A 300whp DD would make me more than happy.

You think your tires are bad? I can't even turn without my rear tires breaking out. Lol.
Damn... That's really bad.

lol i completley understand the physics that are against FWD cars, but i just figured that you would have enough dont to keep the car planted better... but i get where the torque is coming from too...

Yeah, here's a clue of when I got these tires.

They're Kumho Ecsta SUPRAs, Ultra High Performance Summer Tires and these are the tires that my dad put on ever since he got these wheels for the car.

That's 5-6 years. Sure they're not used everyday but they're still that old and I use them every so often. When the fronts went bad, my dad only replaced the fronts.

I can't drive the car in fun mode until I get new tires for my Rotas and until I get a damn job.

I had Kumho Ecsta Supras when I first got the DB8 too! Lol! What a coincidence. They were mad bald too. My Tito is a crazy driver. Crazy good that is...

My dad used to drive spiritedly I guess you could say, and I'm happy to say that I am a lot better than him.

Damn I miss driving on fun mode. I haven't been able to go past 50 in 2 months.
Damn are you serious? No highway driving? I wouldn't survive not going on the freeway here in SoCal. It's the only way to get to point A to point B.

I use to have a AWD Tsi Talon (basically a GSX for the non dsmers lol) and I loved launching that car. I would race people when ever... my favorite was racing cocky guys in the rain, they would talk all this trash about being so fast and giving me crap about having an auto... they would just sit there and burn out and that awd just took off like a bat out of hell, I usually got the last laugh lol.... man I miss awd and a turbo lol

Yes, I went 60 down the high way and hit a slight hump and the back end went loose a little bit.

I don't want to risk it.

Best experience is buy some racing slicks and put them on a spare set of wheels. I took my M3 to Mid-Missouri Raceway for the first time on slicks and it was simply amazing. I couldn't even corner as fast as possible because I couldn't stay in the seat.
