black and blue rawr? haha nice. lol i was going for a red/black valve cover, paint the logo and emblem high temp black, then clear coat the whole thing.

because im going to have red plug wires, so i need some black in there to kinda even the orgasm of red a little bit lol

hey you should peep out ebay for these Password JDM valve nuts they have, they come in all kinds of colors, im getting some after scroungeing forever for non-vtec nuts. i found some black ones to go on there *nohomo*, they come with screws, and 2 sets of 2 different kinds of washwers.. not bad for 25$

well, today i replaced the Rotor, Coil, and distributor cap. took off the valve cover, going to replace the gasket, and paint the cover. here is a couple pictures of the valve cover so far.. just started stripping the old paint off. still in progress. going to prime it, then paint it a nice high temp red, paint the emblem and letters black, and then spray it all with a nice coat of high temp clear

right after i sprayed aircraft paint stripper on it.

ill post a couple more pictures soon, going to paint it tomorrow. going to wash it after i scrub the pain off, let it dry good, then shoot it with paint, let that dry, paint the letters and emblem black the next day, then clear it the next day. i want it to not come off, and be stable so its going to take me a couple days lol. then ill take pics of it on the engine, and with the MSD wires :D

lol well, he had no other place to go, getting kicked out of his apartment because he could not pay rent, so i let him stay with me for a week or two, next thing i know he was there for about a month, which i didnt mind, but right after my sister passed away, the MF'er decides to steal something from my house, i dunno what it was, but my dad and his g/f knew he stole whatever it was, and stashed it somewhere when i took him to another dudes house to stay with for a while because i was working around that time, so he finally convinced his dad to let him stay there, and when he did he took whatever he stole with him. and i have not talked to him since. because he found out that i knew about his thievery, so hence "ex-friend" in the captions. he helped me some of the body work when i first got the car, so he was helpful for something.. don't get me wrong, i can be friends with just about any and everybody, but when you steal from me, i draw the line.

but anyway, back to the subject, here is the valve cover all stripped and drying:


there are a few spots on the vavle cover that had already peeled off while it was on the head, so hence why there are those blemish spots on the cover. ill cover all that up with the primer i hope lol i dont want that crap to show through the red

i worked on it today sir. replaced the distributor cap, rotor, coil and plugs lol im working on it! im still waiting on a deal to close, so i can get the money from the deal and then you will start seeing TONS of pictures on here lol ill even take pictures of my shop being built and when the BENDPAK lift im getting is getting installed lol. if i can strike a deal with this company that sells them. i found one i really like and want for about 2700

new progress, got the valve cover masked off, and first coat of high temp primer on. here is some pictures. ill take more pictures when i shoot red on it, then ill post more when i paint the emblem and letters.
