Integra's don't take a true 6.5 inch speaker. So don't be surprised when you order 6.5's and they don't fit.

Everyone's suggestions are good except for Pioneer. They make awful speakers. Also avoid Sony, anything from Walmart (sub grade products made specifically for Walmart's price point), Jensen, and Insignia.
..yes they do.
I have old JBL CS Series 6 1/2's in the front and back. Unless you're talking 3rd gens, in which case I'm not sure.

what are you talking about? the 6.5" speakers dropped right in my car. i HIGHLY reccomend polks DB6500 series speakers. they come with both the 6.5" woofer and tweeters and external crossover. pair these spekers with a decent head unit and a relativly low power amp and BEHOLD the power of polk

Personality I like Alpine S, I have S components powered by external amp and S for rear powered by head unit. I think I only spent around $500 for the speakers, also got jl audio 10w3 sub and matching amp. My friend calls my set up stupied loud!haha I had the alpine R for a while but they were to bassy for me and not clean tone sounding enough. But its really personal preference, everyone ear is different. People think I'm crazy for liking the S over the R but its whatever. They sound weird to me and I preffer to hear lyrics over bass.

Best advice I could give you, goto audio store and see/hear which speakers sound better, and also fit your budget If money wasn't a option I'd go with focal, by far best sounding speakers Imo but for 6.5 components run around $500 to $600. So if money isn't an option ;)

^^WRONG^^ idk where you got your infor, but its not true, if you want to install Alpine Type R in your doors, you half to make a spacer. The magnet on the R is huge and won't be direct bolt in. But you can put the R in the rear w/o any mods.

Okay, but we were talking speaker diameter, not depth.
Buddy said 6 1/2's won't fit, when they will. Of course if you have a speaker with a huge magnet it might not fit, that's the same for a lot of vehicles.
