Haven't heard anything bad about the K20Z3 block having any problems. Elton hasn't had any problems with his FG2.yes i would as well they have a more reliable tranny but i herd their block sucked
The DC5 MTs are notorious for having problems. That's why DC5 Type-S owners like to swap over to the DC5 ITR transmission.Wow, really? They have that many transmission problems?
Were these auto or manual transmissions?
or the guts of the newer Si tranniesHaven't heard anything bad about the K20Z3 block having any problems. Elton hasn't had any problems with his FG2.

Hmm...well, that's not very promising.shane pugnap00 babies his car more than mine...i heel toe constantly and he drives normally
Don't let it discourage you from getting a DC5. Not all the transmissions are going to have problems. I have a friend who's had an 02 DC5 for 9 years. No problems with the tranny.Hmm...well, that's not very promising.
Yeah, this is true. Granted, however, I've never had very good luck with cars...haha.Don't let it discourage you from getting a DC5. Not all the transmissions are going to have problems. I have a friend who's had an 02 DC5 for 9 years. No problems with the tranny.
As long as you take good care of your car, I'm sure you won't run into problems. Change the transmission fluid regularly and rev match when you downshift. It'll be better for the synchros.Yeah, this is true. Granted, however, I've never had very good luck with cars...haha.
