Sorry it's been a while I know I just haven't posted up here in a while. So the project is at a standstill right now. The engine is in and all hooked up. We put some oil in it and primed it, built oil pressure just fine. The only problem now is that were waiting to get the tuned ecu and intercooler piping back from the company the ecu was sent to. We were suppost to get it almost a week ago and it's not looking good. Really sucks because we just want to get this thing done and out of the garage. It's frustrating to pretty much have the car ready to go and to not have any control over when we can get it done. GHEYYYYY But anyways here a few pics of the install.

www.jgycustoms.com but then they sent it out to JWT?? Some Jim Wolf guy's shop who is "tuning" the ecu. To be completely honest i hate the fact that were relying on what is pretty much a basemap computer. No dyno tuning here and that bothers me. It's getting real frustrating though that i don't have the ecu yet. Apparently JGY keeps saying that JWT isn't done with it yet? I can't see how it's been like 3 weeks. :roll:

with the stock SR20DE ecu? Don't tell me that haha. I didn't deal with this whole computer thing that was the owner of the car. When we first started the project he asked us to pull out the ecu so he could ship it out to get it tuned for the DET. A 300zx maf with the stock SR20DE ecu would work?

Yea man, when I did my sr20det swap that's what I used, it ran great, even with a slightly upraded turbo, exhaust, intake, etc. I did eventually tune it but the gain was minimal and with my mods it was almost dead on with that 300zx maf.
It's all good, it'll most likely run better this way. Downpipe looks like a nice fit.
