at this time the most biggest problem i have its for Compile the code from orthello.

i try many PIC program and its difficult...

do you have some tips!!!?!!!

my converter is built on my bread board, only missing the .bin file!

i already have proton_lite..

when i try to compile with Mpasmwin.exe.

it didnt work....

i have try many things and im confuse =P

i want to try my S2k cluster =P if you have the time, please send me your .bin or .hex by email =P

i think my crownhill program not installed succesfully, i will try yet.

the .exe in the crownhill folder didn't work....

do you use proton IDE?

edit: my crownhill installation program will not termine correctly the installation, so the proton IDE are not install corectly.

my proton ide work perfectly,

and the compile option too! wow!!!!! im happy =P

my head is about to explode... i gave this to my roommate who is studying to be an electrical engineer with a computer science minor, and he was fascinated by this. he didnt really understand why it was happening, but he liked what he was reading about whatever it is you are posting... and yes Matt this is a very intense thread, i have no idea what im reading.

What you are reading is the progress of research and development of a converter to get the S2000 cluster 100% working in any other honda then an S2000.

The electronic signals for speed (VSS) and engine coolant temperature (ECT) are very different in an S2000 compaired to other Hondas. So a converter is needed to get the S2000 cluster working in a TEG, Lude or CRX or...... you name it.

That is what is going on in this thread.

in your wiring diagram the 74ls90n need VCC at pin 5.

first test toning on bench, the pic didnt work =( i dont know why at this time.

but the divider work fine.(with vcc lol)

edit:

and its possible the pic16f628a need 5V+ to pin 4(reset)?????

i will test it soon =P
