On his defense, homie just tore apart his whole interior and dry ice became his best friend for two days haha. Can't wait to see his retro though!

Oh I should post before and after pictures that green kouki took of my projectors. Give me a sec and I'll look for them

yeah, i talked to him but i dont want to pay 50 bucks for custom shields and to be without headlights for however long it would take him. if you have your stock shields you should send them to me to borrow so i can make a template to make some customs

i also need to switch back to my 35w ballasts, i dont like using 55w in those projectors, i feel like its just too much heat in there

Stock Shield:

Greenkouki Curve Shield:

I'll look for my stock shield. Not sure where I placed them after I moved. He could also create a custom curved shield for you and you can install and align them yourself. I don't think the pictures are as accurate as they should be, but there are clear differences such as a wider beam.

Here's a comparison shot using my iPhone within the same hours.

Top: Philips 85122+ after cleaning the lens with Mother's Headlight Restoration Kit
Middle: Philips 85122+ with kind of a hazy lens
Bottom: Philips 85122 with kind of a hazy lens

No pictures of the Osram CBi bulbs yet.

You should risk it. Buy new projectors in a couple years if they burned in. lol

Output sample on the set thats going up for sale.

The curve shield is so sick. But you had him install the shield right?

Yeah, I had him install the shield too. Figured it was worth the $50 lol. Do you have a custom shield, Tom? and the projector that you just posted, has a really long step-up lol.

As long as theyre cut correctly they should be easy to install and adjust. The only issue i see people comment on is the time it takes to tinker with. If you used anything other than nuts and bolts to lock in your projectors then it will be a b****. i.e. hot glue, etc. Mine can be unbolted cus i didnt finalize the threads with any seal but i just checked them earlier when i had the lenses off and theyre solid.

Yea i want to see dylans set cus i never go to road test them since they were just brackets.

I think im goin with chrome low beams, black high beams for a while.

No i was about to make some shields but the time crunch i was in didnt allow for the trial/error and experimenting.
Those projectors are of a mercedes that used the slant type cutoff rather than a step.

Have a picture Tom of what that'll look how you want to run it?

Mine are easy to take off and on and he gave me a tip to do it plus he has a DIY on it, I know its going to be hell probably but could be worth it.
