ive driven dc's w/o power steering. ive driven mine w/o it. i could do without it.. my past few cars didnt have it either. plus, it has a better feel when driving.. at least it does to me.

The sucky part about the way you did your harness is you don't have heat anymore. PM me if you would like to keep heat and still have the harness through the middle of the firewall
