By the way i figured out why you guys say i am posting huge pictures!

there is a setting here on club integra to automatically resize any photo over your preference of size
you edit your settings somewhere... it gives you a field of options and i forgot i did that a long time ago
its nice because i can pick and choose when i want to see the large picture and when the reduced size

This is a little more than halfway down in the thread display options box

Afterwards it looks like this

The other asshole
I think they have crappy bandwidth or something, Maybe it loads slow on mobile, The default resizes anything over something like 640x480

Zoom-Zoom

nothing fancy considering i still suck at life with this camera, but i copied it over from facebook... still trying to understand how to make a peetcher fap worthy.
Your exposures are fine, I think maybe you're looking for a better composition. In a parking lot you're kinda limited.

Composition isnt even bad. Picture is sharp and clear. What youre looking for is how to make it 'pop' more in the photo. That tends to take a little post processing.

I don't know how to do all that stuff.. I try every thing out in Lightroom and reset the picture a couple times til I see some type of improvement.

I want to get on the next level and be able to take shots without needing much processing.

Any of you take video? What editing programs do you use? I've only tried one video so far, and just used basic Window's Movie Maker. I was also looking at sliders, stabilizers/steadicam, etc. Jeez those things get expensive. Might try the DIY $10 slider idea.
I made a DIY steady cam for $20 and it's worked really well for my bmx videos. Ill post it up sometime

I like your huge pictures. What are we talking about again?

Like aussie said the exposure looks good, i looked at the histogram. So either youre shooting at pretty decent settings or working well with lightroom. Post editing doesnt necessarily mean a lot is done to the photo and its prob safe to say few (if any) professionals end up with zero processed photos. Some are minor and some need more. But we all feel that way about our photos, we want them to look great right out of the camera. Only thing i could come up with on your shot is slight sharpening and maybe push the gloss a little bit but it didnt look all that much different. Cant also forget that professionals tend to have far better glass than we do. It definitely helps take clean photos right out of the gate.

JUST KEEP SHOOTING... there is no right or wrong way of post processing your photos. its all about your style in the end and what you think looks best to your eye. which was said before in this thread some people like that natural light look others like the edit process.

Do what you think looks good and keep practicing and don't ever let anyone tell you that your not doing a good job. your doing better than most by going out to meets and just shooting. Is the only way you will get better.

if you want to take on more of a challenge be patient and wait until people are not around the car or ask politely if you could take a picture of the owners car with no one around. its a simple yes or no. just need confidence or hell just get the guys number and schedule a photo shoot. That's what i do most of the time. Then you can have your way with the car. Maybe even get a ride in it. Those are best the shoots....:)

I've been meaning to make a mount that sits inside the car thats well supported. I have to consider whether its more practical to make something or fork up for a heavy duty suction cup thats also versatile enough to vary position. Then the next question is how i should set the focus. lol
