Too bad the other guys up north have to work or there would be a nice little pack coming down. Jeff is hoping to show up but he isn't off until 5.

Yo skid, if you need any help, let me know.
The last thing you need is to run low on oil and kill your engine.

How fast is it leaking?

I always use a new gasket bro.

Quit reusing the same old f***ing gasket.

Jk

I haven't had a oil pan leak problem.

I put on the gasket, apply a very thin layer of silicone heavy duty gasket maker to the outer perimeter* not on the gasket itself. Just the edge. Hand tighten snug and let it cure.

Let it sit to cure, time depends on weather conditions and type of gasket maker.

I let it sit overnight to play it safe.

Then go back and torque back on in the morning.

Supposedly that heavy duty s*** works better than a gasket, but I wouldn't try it.

Good luck

HB on corners, not much. follow proper sequence in 3 steps and just do it by hand. its real easy to tighten it too much. grab the head of the ratchet and turn it by that, not the handle. So there will not be as much leverage... 3rd times a charm bro, or is this the 4th?? Any kind of silicone on the outer perimeter isnt gonna do much but hide an oil leak that already got past the gasket. Maybe it just looks too messy for my taste lol.

I did all that, and used new gaskets I'm not a COMPLETE noob lol.

It's not leaking very fast, just enough to annoy me...it was a quart over filled again (thx dad lol)on tuesday, friday was at full, and today was just touching the full mark. This is with driving to seatac everyday but saturday.
