Normal for gsr's to blow black smoke when engaging in VTEC?

You're running rich. My used to blow black smoke before.

Go ahead and check your exhaust tip, if theres a lot of thick black on it, you're probably running rich. Don't quote me on this, but someone told me its normal for Hondas to run rich under load/in VTEC.

Eh, don't call me ignorant for this. But I have no clue how it helps, all I know is that is what it says on the bottle. Supposed to help rings seal better. iono:shrug:

sounds like there are alot of integras running incorrectly...

Thats not true..like said before, almost every single VTEC Honda I've seen blows out at least a puff of smoke when engaging.
