Ok, You have a SWAP and the motor is an LS/VTEC which whoever installed it FUDGED UP.

Are you ever going to tell us what ECU you are using? Worst case scenario is you take it to a shop and shell out some dough to have them figure it out.

You got me thinking... Is it possible the person who built the ls/vtec didn't put the oil feeds in properly? Do you know what the oil pressure is when your RPMs are supposed to be in vtec? The lobes might not be switching to vtec if the installer fucked that part up

If that was the case he would be throwing a code. He would be in limp mode. I think hes running the wrong ecu because he has not told us any other symptoms the car is having, other than vtec not engaging, and the car is running normal?

well the car is running normally and pulls f*** hard but i know i would be able to feel the vtec kick in cause its DOHC but i dont ..

No code ls vtec GSR head u dnt know the ecu type vtec not wrkin...... Ur Question how much for a mechanic to rewire it????? Lmao I think u have bigger problems.
