You got me thinking... Is it possible the person who built the ls/vtec didn't put the oil feeds in properly? Do you know what the oil pressure is when your RPMs are supposed to be in vtec? The lobes might not be switching to vtec if the installer fucked that part upOk, You have a SWAP and the motor is an LS/VTEC which whoever installed it FUDGED UP.
Are you ever going to tell us what ECU you are using? Worst case scenario is you take it to a shop and shell out some dough to have them figure it out.
