so... no cat-back? lol
wtf? i'm confused...what are you talking bout?hmm im just gonna say yes on this one... everyone on this thread is saying either to get one or not to because it will melt the insides blocking my exhaust... imma just get new down pipe and get 2.5 or 3'' piping
I disagree with this post.2.5 is plenty big enough for a turbo setup it will have a nice growl to it just about any company out there make amazing catbacks it depends on what you want
Welding.... Basically get the 2.5 header of choice. Find a RSX-S exhaust. Hack off the resonator and the muffler. Then weld them somewhere in your 2.5in piping. Bam done. I think the hangers work just fine on the muffler.its a dc chasis...but a rsx s exhaust on a integra? hmmmm....never heard of that before.
A HIGH FLOW cat will not cause any issues whats so ever. The factory cats are constructed in a cost effective way. A high flow unit will not cause much back pressure, actually I bet you will get more back pressure from 2 bends in the exhaust then you do from a high flow cat. As far as burning up, lol, hell no. try it. IDK what kind of turbo your using but so long as its not encased in magma I doubt youll be burning up a high flow cat. Cats have a higher tendency to flake, but that again is the oem design. Aftermarket high flow units are constructed much better.speedin, i dont know what power level you are talking about, but even a high flow cat will burn up and cause a lot of backpressure on a turbo car. i would not ever run any cat, whether its a high flow or not. this info is from jeff evans:
"Turbos and cats don't work together so if you're gung-ho on having a cat, don't go turbo...the cats internals will just melt and it will be clogged from the heat the turbo generates."
I dont think the full catback fits. my friend ended up doing rsx-s axelback with ITR b-pipeits a dc chasis...but a rsx s exhaust on a integra? hmmmm....never heard of that before.
there ya go, even easier, didnt hear of that set up yet.I dont think the full catback fits. my friend ended up doing rsx-s axelback with ITR b-pipe
