welcome to CI!

i would keep the gsr motor only because the type R motor is a gsr motor with a different intake manifold, throttle body, cams and pistons with a mild factory port and polish. thats all.

As to what I want to do with this car, I want to work the engine up a bit, thats why I am seeing if rebuilding it is the best choice, instead of doing an engine swap! So far people are telling me to rebuild and work from there.

just rebuild it, type R cams, type R oversized pistons with a blue printed and balanced bottom end, ported and polished head. =)

Alright so I am in work, about to eat Hibatchi Steak and thinking of what kind of pricing limit to go with, I don't wanna go full out, but I also wanna work this car up to where I can easily break 200hp while redoing the engine. Any thoughts on what mods to go with? Also, what should I NOT replace when doing this engine rebuild, I know alot of people said to keep the intake but if I am willing to dump about 300-400 into one is it worth swapping out? Also heard the Headers are great to keep?
