DA9vid: They will look much cleaner if you paint them with some nice translucent red IMO.

Each year I paint a clear set and slap them on.

Ricer for a Day.

Well I have had them on for a day and I don't like them. I bought new light bulbs and they look pink. So I ma going to put my stock ones back on after I clean the pink lines off of them. Is there a DIY for this? I don't want to keep asking questions about this. Thanks for all you opinions and comments. Anybody want to buy some clear tail lights?

If you want a red glow instead of pink you need led bulbs on the clear lenses

I started cleaning them with Purple Power and it seems that they are not coming clean. Only some spots of pink are coming off. How long do I have to do it for?

Dont use really hot water... It took my 3 sets about 5 minutes each of slushing around... Use warm water from the tap...

I am almost done with one and it took me 1 1/2 hours to get that far. I used hot water from the tap but I will try warm water tomorrow.

Man this sucks! I have used about a half of bottle and another hour of work and they still have not come clear. The pink is barely coming off. I still have to do the other one. Man this is taking too long.

Well I got some Bleach and used hot water and the rest came off in like 5 minutes. They look great except a very small part half the size of a dime turned grey from putting so much Purple power in it. I used the whole bottle!
