i just check by the distributor and i see a slight leak coming from there so does that mean it could still be a head gasket leak ?
From the look of the pic it looks like it could be your head gasket. But if there's a slight leak coming from your distributor it's probably your cam seal or an o-ring. Just make sure your teg is always running with enough oil until you get it fixed. Let us know how it goes, hope you can fix it, I find leaks very annoying.

Np, just don't rush it. Patience is very important when building or fixing a car. gL :)

Replace the valve cover gasket, dizzy gasket, and that should fix it. If it was the head gasket there would be coolant

Just had to fix the same leak. It is the head gasket unless te dizzy and can seal are bad. Anything could have happened. I installed a new HG, ARP head studs and had the head resurfaced and it is fine. HG leak can be from anything. My car didn't over heat or lose coolant.

How many miles are on the engine?

Why would a head gasket leak oil out of the side of the head? If you had a problem that allowed OIL to somehow get that far out of the head you would most certainly notice other ill effects such as white smoke or coolant in the oil.

Hit up DLO253 for a new cam seal. He makes some baller parts and for a great price too. I'm sure that would solve your issue- if not then I'd put a new valve cover gasket on it.

Since I bought the studs it cost me a little more but I plan on using the studs on another build. HG is a buddy club since it was all the store had at the time and I just want my car back. Resurface is dependent on the shop you find. I think my total job was maybe 250. A lot less if you go OEM parts and gaskets.

I was wondering the same thing but you can never tell. Maybe something with that part of the gasket went bad. Mine was smoking under load and so I thought it was a HG but I wasnt losing coolant. Turned out to be leaking from where his is. Just oil. No coolant.

Glad to see sense still lingers here.
