New picture for an avitar! WOOT WOOT :nod:BabyDoll said:DAMN...I wish the tC could do that ..but if i wanted it to do that i'd just have to buy a new car...hahahaha.
Tell me about it, still waiting on the recall for the mounts. Yea I think they still limit the boost through the ecu but the thing has forged crankshaft and rods and pistons, I think it can handle a good amount more, there selling the mazdaspeed exhaust which is 3 inch under warantee so It should be fine.speedin said:G/L with that. Better get those mounts fixed!
Oh and when you put the exhast on make shure you get a boost controler. Youll gain alot of boost going to a full 3in pipe. That could kill your motor (do you really wanna be the guy who sees how much psi this can handle stock?)
Damn I'm driving through Virginia this weekend on my way up to Philly, I'm sure I can make a stop!BabyDoll said:DAMN...I wish the tC could do that ..but if i wanted it to do that i'd just have to buy a new car...hahahaha.
WTF MAZDA! Why do they always screw something up. First building the FD without 3mm apex seals. Now making a nice engine in a FWD. OHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I would like to see this motor in a miata!!! That would KICK ASS!Aussie said:Tell me about it, still waiting on the recall for the mounts. Yea I know right, that would be sick in a miata, but I'm not sure about the deck, but i'm pretty sure that boost is controlled electronically on this one, mazda really did the math on it. As for the exhaust, i'm not sure what size the stock one is, I was talking about the mazdaspeed aftermarket one there selling is 3 inch turbo back.speedin said:WTF MAZDA! But, 3in factory? What is it just a catback? Oh and the OEM boost controlers usually use vaccume and are also bad at holding boost down. You know if its a open or closed deck block? Oh and their is alot more than just internals that hold boost.
Im talking about the MazdaSpeed one. Its 3in turbo back?? Damn, And it has a 3in cat too? How much is that? I bet you have to break the bank on that one! OEM warrented part, that even in the aftermarket would cost around $800-1000. So The OEM one must be like $1500-$1800 :shock:Aussie said:Yea I know right, that would be sick in a miata, but I'm not sure about the deck, but i'm pretty sure that boost is controlled electronically on this one, mazda really did the math on it. 3 inch all the way, yea they said they were going to sell a package with cai, dp, and exhaust for like 2000 grand and it is supposed to add 30 whp, I've read the reviews from the tuning companys that have tried it and they have had nothing but good comments. They said it really lets you use those revs above 6000 that just weren't worth taking it up that far before. Me personally am going to wait till CPE comes out with theres, also Cobb Tuning is supposed to be making an ECU program for it thats supposed to reallly set it over the top with all stock internals. I heard there making some major hp with just tuning.speedin said:Im talking about the MazdaSpeed one. Its 3in turbo back?? Damn, And it has a 3in cat too? How much is that? Oh, so my guess its factory diameter DP with revisions then a 3in catback. Because I didnt think they would replace the cat (its accually illegal to remove a working cat). But damn, I think you can do better for $2k, hell give me that $2k and ill make more than 30whp for ya.Aussie said:3 inch all the way, yea they said they were going to sell a package with cai, dp, and exhaust for like 2000 grand and it is supposed to add 30 whp, I've read the reviews from the tuning companys that have tried it and they have had nothing but good comments. Thats a good point, even so I agree with doing better, Depending on prices I should be able to pick up cai, dp, ex, and a front mount for that much.speedin said:Oh, so my guess its factory diameter DP with revisions then a 3in catback. I dont think 8urcivic would go for that either.Aussie said:Damn I'm driving through Virginia this weekend on my way up to Philly, I'm sure I can make a stop!J/K I don't think the wifey would go for that:lol:
