hey there teggy owners, sorry for not updating anything tho,as for today, i got the head,ALL GASKETS (full set),rings, and hoses, and all other parts, but i won't be able to post pics, because i'm a little bit overrated, that, despite the fact tat i got the hoist and engine stand,i can't get to remove those DAMNED AXLE SHAFTS!!!,it looks like the only way to remove them is by taking the lower ball joint and control arm apart, sadly,i do not have the tool to perform the operation and tried to do so it the ghetto way,Didn't work

so,overall,i wasted the whole damned day trying to do something pointless, any ideas or how to remove those 2 without the tool???

or any links for the tool i need,or at least the name???

Are you talking about a pickle fork?

hey there teggy owners:

no,I got a 2-piece jaw set from the Chinese store, and voila, the jaw set bent out (thank god that those Chinese people put full lifetime warranty to everything),everything was hopeless (and helpless),but then,an idea came to my head,i tried the same with the right side and PATOOSH!!!,the steering knuckle came out instantly(as a matter of fact,1.5 seconds),and i took the shaft out, which means that the left side steering knuckle is stuck to the lower control arm (Rusting perhaps???),and does not want to come out,but i figured something else to take the right axle shaft out.

(as soon as i get out the engine/tranny,i'll start posting pics again)!!!

blessings and have a merry christmas!!!

Also, the deathmobile died on Friday, tranny broke, not paying to fix it,got arrangements to buy a new car!!!
(WTF is deathmobile,read my sig)!!!

I think it's pretty funny that all of your vehicles listed are broken lol.
Prozon,my friend, trust me,this is not fun,is quite stressful,i knew the deathmobile was gonna give up soon, but not at this rate(anyways i wasn't planning on fixing it),my truck died because of my dad and his stupidity (should have took my truck keys with me that day!!!), and the teggy was a recent acquisition, (which was poorly maintained btw),that i'm rebuilding, the pickup just had a rebuild, but somehow it was easier to work on it than in a integra.

the deathmobile came through an accident and left through an accident
(i spent overall like $2100 in that damned car, damn it even took the $15 of oil change,(and i changed the oil 2 days before it died))!!!

GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!!! LOL

I know how that goes man. I've done more work to my vehicles then you could possibly imagine. My truck probably doesn't have an original part on it lol.

Hey there teggy owners, finally, was about time,i can proudly announce that I'm almost finished putting the engine back,I already re-ringed the pistons, and put new bearings (main and rod),and today, well,i got pictures of all the other progress, except for the rings and mains & rod bearings, cause when i got home,my dad had already placed them in,so sorry,no pics for those, today i cleaned THOROUGHLY the engine with a mix of gasoline and diesel (and old grandpa's trick),that took ALL THE SLUDGE OFF the engine (in and out),but i couldn't take any pics cause i lost the camera, but i found it already, problem being that is very dark and i'm too lazy to go outside!!!

as for today (and the last weeks that i didn't posted anything):

I think getting it pressure checked for cracks would be more important than anything else.. you don't want to slap it all together and discover you have a bad head. Make sure it's checked for warpage too.. even the slightest bit can screw things up.

Make sure you get the right size main/rod bearings. Check the crank for correct side, out-of-round.. that kind of thing. You might also consider getting the rods resized. My machine shop charged $12 a piece. So $50 for a "good-as-new" set of rods.
Prozon,My friend, i forgot to tell you that the machine shop pressure checked and resurfaced the head, this Engine is gonna run like a champion!!!

Hehe. You finished your engine before mine.
I'm waiting on ARP head studs before I put my head on. I'm going to do the valve seals too.
And the transmission will probably be rebuilt before I put the engine back in. I don't want to have to pull it out in 2k miles when I put the turbo/clutch on so I figured i'll wait and do the trans/clutch now.

That is a lot of sludge in your engine! I hope it was only because you blew a head gasket?!

Do you have a description behind that? Is that before or after the engine has ran?
If after, I'd say your head isn't torqued right. :)

????????????????
No,Prozon, the engine is still in the stand,i haven't put it back in the car!!!
and i torqued all of them to 63ft-lbs (i did the the three torque step in the manual, and also the torque sequence)
unfortunately,i can't put the engine back to the car, mainly because,i need the water pump, and Motor mounts,a new pulley and a power steering pump(pump was broken,3 out of 4 mounts were rotten and broken, and i broke the pulley (stupid me))!!!
