My gsr build-up

Quick question, how did you change out your pistons and rods with the engine still in the car? I might be wrong but according to your pics you never took the engine out. Also how long did it take for the install? Im looking into boosting my GSR but first putting in some lower compression pistons and stronger rods.

I bought one of these things piston ring compressor

Then i dissasembled the whole bottom end with the block still on the car. Installed the pistons very carefully and then assembled everything exactly the same way I took it apart. Took the crank to get it micro-polished and lightend. Then bought acl bearings and arp rod bolts. For boost aftermarket rod bolts is a MUST!! Most failures I have seen have been the rod bolts while boosting. Since you'll probably be making 250hp with stock sleeves at least put a block guard like this golden eagle one
