My gsr build-up UPDATED!!!!

My first post about my car. Please give me some input.








11.5 cr
Eagle H rods
ARP head studs
ACL bearings
Mugen Head gasket
Gsr head
Skunk2 valve train
PNP
Skunk2 stage 3 cams
and cam gears
Skunk2 IM
Hondata Intake gasket
ITR throttle body
B&M FPR
rc 310cc
255 Fuel pump
MSD SCI ignition
RS*R 4-2-1 header (soon to be rmf!!)
apex dunk exhuast
tuned with CHROME

thanks for the great input. just sent out head yesturday for work. and then have torque freaks tune my car. ill definitly keep you guys updated. pics of car will be up shortly

yes you do want to lower compression if you are going to boost. but it depends on how much boost you want to run. and you can safetly boost around 8 to 10 psi with 11.5 compression as long as the motor is tuned very well.

so therefore the higher the boost you want the lower the compression ratio? so if you want a mild boost you can just use the stock compression ratio

stock compression on a gsr is fine with a good tune my friend made 325 whp on 10lbs stock everything internal wise

:D that's one hell of a set up...good choice going with skunk hey let us know about any further improvements...i was looking at toda gear just to browse around and check out the prices...gotta do research before i go on a spending spree...

I got the head back from the machine shop friday

So far everything gone by great with no complications. Hope to have it dyno tuned on saturday. My goal is hopefully 210whp. I totally ran out of money to invest any money on a decent header with at least a 2.5 collector, which is totally gonna rob me of my hp :( im running a crappy 2.25 . I'll keep you guys updated next time with a dyno chart.

Tuned my car at Intec Racing. I had Matt work on it took 2 hours but well worth the wait!!!! man it feels like a whole differant car. :) All i need is a new header and test pipe and im set to go! Thanks everyone for looking tread and the feedback you guys gave me! All my blood sweat and tears went into this build hoped all you guys enjoyed following me threw it.


I was running a stock cataylic converter and a 2' collector header :(
