Must I run premium gas in my GSR?

I will note, on my ls, I too got better mileage on 87 than 91. By about 50 miles.
I got about 30 miles more on premium. So I saved about a gallon. I would have spent about $3 or $4 less anyway, so it would have been the same.

That's strange. Did you reset the ECU? I did.

The cheapest Chevron. lol
I took a road trip down to arcata (north CA coast) about two months ago and paid 4.40. and it was the cheapest chevron i could find too. but hey, the guy even cleaned my windshield! So it was a "little" less painful. lol.

100k
is 100,000

You had a 100mile difference in a full tank? That is way off. You could pull that off if you were on a track really smashing on that throttle.

I had a 90 and I got better MPG switching to premium.
I only did it a couple times because it's a waste on an LS.

I was just cleaning the injectors and fuel filter with an additive.
Shoot, I meant 100km. I only ever do it if I have a few bucks to clean it out. It is a waste.

Also if you guys are paying on average it looks like $4.25 a gallon, for premium, that's a hell of a deal.
My town (Tofield, Alberta) is having a little gas war, and we've had the cheapest gas in Canada for a week or so, and regular is $1.13/Litre, so 1 US gallon = 3.78541178 litre, it works out to $4.28/Gallon.
Premium was $1.28 yesterday, so $4.85 per gallon.

Baller, yo
Yeah, I have been using regular e10 but I'm starting to use Premium Unleaded.. lasts longer, goes harder and its recommended - guess it all weighs out.

CAHLEAN!
If you are really THAT concerned, run a tank of 87 and see how far you go on a tank and then do that with 91. Its probably cheaper to use 91 because your gas miilage is better on 91. Just a thought. I am broke as a joke and have never run anything less that 91.
