Modded 2006 BMW M6 vs. Stock 2007 Corvette C6 ZO6 upto 180+mph

Why? Because they worked their ass off and like to do the same thing we do, just with more expensive cars.

maybe, but they sounded like guys not much older than me. and at 20 i cant afford a headlight off an M6. OR a Z06.

It's just that 6th gear sucks. My friends Z06 would pull really go up to 165 or so then once he went into 6th gear it would drop all the way down to like 3k rpm's and pull slowly. 186 is the fastest we could get it......but that is scarely fast......Feels like the suspension is just floating and tires aren't even touching the ground. 6th gear just kills them cars. It would pull all the way to 165 like nothing....but that damn 6th gear would slow things down so much

Oh I agree with the 6th gear being to high, but thats marketing, think of the people that buy these cars. Usually older men who finally got rid of there kids and can get that new Corvette they once had again, yea they want it to be fast but they're not doing 180 on the highway, they want that 6th gear so they can get that gas milage going to church on Sunday But with a little change in the rear and some exhaust work that stock Corvette would not lose to that M6.

My friend that has the Z06 is 23. It is hilarious! He always harasses the hell out of all the old men that think their the shit because they have a base model Corvette. It's funny to see the look on a 50yr old mans face when 2 23yr olds pull up to him in a Z06 and walk all over his ass. It's fun just to shoot down their pride. I would still never buy one though. They are pieces of shit IMO. My friend is a Vette nut. He had a base C5 and then upgraded to the C5 Z06, both of which were falling apart by the time they had 40k miles. The only one he ever had that didn't fall apart was a '67 Stingray with a 454

You know what else are pieces of shit. BMWs, we get brand spankin new ones in the shop all the time, for routine maintenace and they're just falling apart. I mean the seats wear like crap, the trim pieces are falling off, the paint on the trim pieces is wearing off. It just trips me out to see a 60+k car being so poorly made anymore.
