cars looking good man!
Thanks Jim. Ive got some rust bubbling up on the passenger side rear quarter panel. Ill have to get it checked out and repaired. :(

I havent had any updates to the car in a while, and still dont. Ive noticed one of my corners is slightly lower than the other, and thats because the coilovers arent at the same height. Too bad the nuts are full of dirt and dont want to move. I will have to pull them out and put them in my vise so I can get some more torque on them. Ive been amassing some things to do once I have time as well, such as a water pump and orings for the coolant tube, as well as valve seals to hopefully curb my oil consumption.

I have been doing some other things around my house though. I decided to start my re-wiring of the garage to bring in more outlets, as well as run a 240v for a future welder. Im not planning on taking pictures of the garage as a whole, because although the work is time consuming and spans across a large area, there really isnt much to look at.

I plan on sanding this whole thing down and repainting it as well.

Old bench cleaned up and painted, rustoleum smoke grey.

I'm going to paint the locker I use to store various paints next (which you can see in the lower left corner of the picture). Wont have any updates on the car for a little while, though it needs some maintenance. Its making more noises as time passes by.

I think it actually had a vice mounted to it on the right side. There's holes in it that would point to that being the case. I'm sure something will get installed, I have a number of tools I want to buy, so I don't know when a drill press is on the list. (Air tools, air compressor, welder, bench press, etc.)

Here's the locker done up. Still needs another coat.

Its been a while since I have logged in. Nothing has really changed with the Integra. Still some bugs to work out but she gets me around.

I decided it was time to pick up a new project, something to turn a rough canvas into a beautiful painting. Enter the Datsun 620 Kingcab. Its a 76, has drums on all 4 corners, and is primer, over black spray paint, over the original red. It's a piece right now. I bought it out of Nevada with the hopes to road trip it home. With bad brakes and bad tires (horrible shaking at 35 mph) that wasn't going to happen. I had it shipped and it got here yesterday afternoon. Its going to be a long and expensive process to get it where I want, but that's what I like to do. I plan on swapping an SR20 into it eventually, but there are other priorities to get it roadworthy first. Might make a separate build thread when I have some progress for this little guy.

Failed inspection with the integra because of the jdm front. Going to attempt to make the usdm headlights work to pass inspection. If it works, its going to be so ugly but will be a no-fail method of passing state inspection. *Crosses fingers*

The outer most tabs were broken and no integra headlights at the junk yard. The tabs are compliments of a civic.

Nice truck! And that sucks about the car! I'm glad Wyoming has lax laws

why did it fail inspection? do you need amber in it or something?

Jdm headlights are not DOT approved (they don't have a dot impression on the inside).

I was notified of this 3 months after I bought the car when a shop sent me away without peeling off my sticker thankfully. I was able to find someone to help me out with the situation for a few years but I don't have that to fall back on this year.

I'll figure the headlights out one way or another. I dont think the DB is that special but I appreciate the compliment :) Thanks.

The truck is a long term project. Currently in the garage with no windows, no dash or wiring harnesses and no fenders. Front brakes are mostly taken off. Need to plumb my compressor and get a welder to do the big projects.

Ask and you shall receive. Since I had to fix the outer mounting tab and didnt have an integra tab to replace it with, the tab is taller than I would have liked and hits the corner of the hood, leaving it sticking up slightly. The top of the high beam also makes some contact with the hood.

This is currently not mounted, just resting in the opening. I made some brackets for the passenger light and will copy them to make a bracket for the drivers side. I still need to get some corner lights to mount beside them for signals. Its not pretty :) 'll have better pictures this weekend when I have time to work on it in the daylight.

Here are my brackets made out of some flat bar. The battery is charging right now but I know the low beams turn on. I had to go to the junkyard for some high beams (9005) with their plugs. The JDM headlights use an H1 bulb that is integrated to the headlight, its not a twist lock.

I also got a corner light from a 94 integra, but it looks to be way too big for my application. That brings me to another crossroad. I can either cut it in half and secure it somehow (which means I will need to get another light to hack up from the other side) or maybe I can get some aftermarket lights and mount them as signals. Since I have sidemarkers, I dont know if I need my front signals to be wrap around. If they dont, I could mount signals between the headlights.

From what I think I know, at a certain year the US required manufacturers to mount signals in a way that they were visible from the front and side. I hope having side markers means I wont need to match up with this requirement, but I dont know.

Edit: I think I may just find some aftermarket signals or something from a different car that will be easier to work with. Maybe the signals from a 90-91 DA? Does anyone know how wide they are?
