Kicking the habit..

congrats man. the cold turkey didnt work like i hoped and i gave in today. so now im just trying to see how long i can go. and slowly try and beat it every time till i dont need smoke anymore. cuz i know it takes 3 days to break the addiction and 20 days after to break the habit. so im gonna keep trying. so lets all keep it up. not many people have been checking in hoping the rest are doing well too.

hang in there man, cold turkey sucks. get some of the gum. it's hiedieous but it helps. it is truly one day at a time.

Quit carrying them in your pocket, then when you crave one, you won't have one on you and you will have to wait.

good idea for a thread. i do really well for a week or so and then i relapse. i think of lung cancer and coughing up blood an it's a deterrent. it doesn't always work.

Ive recently quit..but not all the way though. I smoked a cigg here and there but it i dont crave for it as much bc i chew bubblious gum.. yum..but thats how i am battle my addiction to nicotine.

i know for me drinking and smoking went perfect together, i quit drinking before i quit smoking. i know it would have been a hellava lot harder if i still drank. you still have to find a replacement for it!
