I lost a measure of respect when Kanye said all that junk on live TV. I think the craziest thing he said was that the National Guard was given orders to shoot black people. Even NBC (no pals of Bush or republicans in general) knew how ridiculous his rant was, and they edited it out before it went on the air on the west coast. Kanye's one of the few rappers nowadays I can stomach, music-wise. Him, Pharrell and Dr. Dre are the only Hip Hop producers out there making decent beats, imo. Kanye's first album is sweet, and "Golddigger" is the bomb. I already knew from listening to his first album that he's was a typical far left nut. I think to be a rapper, it's a requirement that you're a left wing nut, a conspiracy theorist, and think any and all Republicans are the devil incarnate. What came out of his mouth doesn't suprise me. It's just as ridiculous as when Jadakiss said "Why did Bush knock down the towers?" in "Why". More idiotic conspiracy theory, that's all they have, they don't want to be confused by facts that might challenge their preconcieved ideology of how the world works. Diddy and Jay Z have gone on the record as agreeing with what Kanye said.
Here's a fact for you Kanye, Sean and Shawn (if you guys have any interest in the facts). George Bush has appointed more blacks (and Hispanics, to boot) to more high level Government positions than any President in our history. Condolezza Rice is the Secretary of State, a black woman.
