How To: Report the California Highway Patrol (CHP)

I like messing with Cops. For example, I'll yell at them to do their job when I see a group of officers standing around after a traffic ticket. Tonight, I was pacing a CHP vehicle traveling 40mph in a 25 and 60mph+ in a 45, got his license plate information and filed a report. Legally, they can speed without their lights on if responding to a Code-2 call, but I could clearly tell this officer was not doing that. It's actually really easy to file a report, go to the link below and fill out a very short form. After you submit it, you get an email confirmation.
Now I know what your thinking, "they aren't gonna do anything, they're Cops!" but it's better so say something and let them know your watching than to not say anything at all. Have fun :thumbs up

Found this excellent video on how to talk to an Officer when being pulled over. Best to know your rights people so you don't incriminate yourself.

And a longer more modern version of the same thing, plus what to do if stopped on the street or if an Officer comes to your home.
Rule #9 at 27:24 is most relevant to our discussion here.

Here is some additional things to think about next time you get pulled over.

Cops and I have an agreement. I leave them alone and they leave me alone. So far it is working. At least since I got my integra. My old car got pulled over a lot.

I've received two parking tickets and got out of both because I talked to them. I've been pulled over once for being in a semi-sketchy area late at night and been talked to probably a dozen times, for just being out late sitting in a car. Can't complain about the Cops unless you are actually willing to do something to get back at them. I happen to like cops, but they have been pissing me off more and more lately.

Depending on the situation, why would I risk my own safety and confront someone who is committing a crime? Much less effective than actually getting the police involved. Would you have liked me to wave down the officer so that I could have a chat with him about his reckless driving? Lol... I'm a proud "snitch", and this world would be a lot safer if people actually spoke up!

No fucks given.
Dafuq is this shit?

Honestly, wtf does it matter if the cop is speeding or standing around after writing a ticket? They did their job, and if there isn't anything to do, how is standing around any different than a cop sitting in a parking lot in their cruiser....? As for the speeding, you'll eventually come across the dickhead cop that will write you a speeding ticket for playing catch up with them.

Like stated before, if they aren't harassing you, just let them be.

I like cops honestly. But it's because I've never had any bad experiences with any. My brother used to be one too and after hearing his stories, I have an even greater respect for what they go through on a daily basis.
