if you can't figure out where the noise is coming from, take it to a shop. Most shops will do a courtesy under car check for free. they can trace the noise down for you. Its pointless to throw parts at cars.
could be your half shaft (intermediate shaft) too. ive had the bearing blow out in those b4. not as common but does happen. there is a bushing in it that can fail aswell.
