I doubt that will happen anytime soon. Its far to engrained in SC. Besides when it comes to government, plan to, and actually do are two VERY different things. They plan on getting rid of E85 completely.

Your not going to need any of that, unless they were forcing a switch to E85. And I really doubt they will get rid of E85.They better start giving out walbro 255's out for free, or at least on the low. And pay for my tune. I'll need some dsm 450cc injectors as well, for free.
If not, I'll be doing some suing real quick. And why would they get rid of e85?
lmao ahhaaDid anyone actually read this article....
"The label also says that using E15 in the wrong engines is now literally a federal offense."

this has to be a JOKE!
Oh really?:roll:fck the epa and all these tree hugging mothereffers.
Yes really! No offense, but I just got done dropping $4k on my car last month. If it ruins my engine or any fuel lines cuz I couldn't get a hold of proper fuel for my engine. I will be getting a lawyer, and the government will be paying for my repairs and the parts to make my car support this stupid fuel change. I'm contacting my lawyer today about it to see what actions I can and should take if any damage occurs as a result of this change.Oh really?
You see, you're being educated about it, you're standing up for a cause you obviously care about and are voicing yourself in the correct manner. And you have every right to. You're not just waltzing here after many educated, thought out responses and saying "fck the epa and all these tree hugging mothereffers.". That is just an underwhelming waste of a breath. Why do you hate the epa? What did the "tree hugging mothereffers" do to you? An argument needs to be validated with facts and needs to be stated through a well pointed opnion. Hate for just hates sake is where s*** hits the fan and people make knee jerk reactions to unthought out plans.Yes really! No offense, but I just got done dropping $4k on my car last month. just dont be ignorant and put in the wrong fuel, im sure it will be clearly marked as desil is now. just grab the regular fuel and maybe take an extra second to make sure its the right one. Its the same concept as putting 91 in instead of 87Yes really! No offense, but I just got done dropping $4k on my car last month. Corn is mostly all GM nowadays so they should have no shortages if they play it 'fair'.It is a gigantic scam.
It takes more energy to produce it than you end up saving in the gasoline it replaces.
We burn an incredible amount of corn to make Ethanol, which has increased food prices around the world.
And now it's gonna be hard as hell to stop making it because midwestern states/swing states who make corn for Ethanol get billions of dollars from the Government to do it, including Iowa, a major Primary state, and any politician who declares an end to Ethanol subsidies will have a very hard time winning in Iowa, which is a very big deal in the Presidential election.
There's a reason the private sector didn't turn Ethanol into a major industry on its own.
I wasn't protecting the EPA, I share the same views as you on this shit. You're obviously highly educated and interested in the subject, and I support any means of greater knowledge and understanding. If everyone was even just a little more aware of their surroundings and what the fuck is actually going on in the world, most of this shit wouldn't get off the ground. Most people are so blind to things going on right beside them.I have no use for the EPA either. They've gone way beyond their origional mandate and are now damaging the economy with ludicrous regulations. It's being used by the Executive to circumvent the Congress (our voice) to impose it's ideological will on us directly. Regulations that have little to no effect as fas as protecting the environment, but have great effect on controling our lives, increasing the size of the Agency with paper pushing beurecrats who need to justify their existence by continuously coming up with more and more regulations. The more regulations, the more people are needed to enforce them, the Agency grows larger and larger needing more and more taxes revenue to pay for them. The private sector pays more taxes to pay for them, while the private sector also pays more (trillions a year) to comply with their neverending list of regulations, pushing jobs overseas to countries with little to no environmental regulations. Think they'll operate their industries cleaner than us? The EPA has become the ideological nerve center for far Left government environmentalist radicals, "protecting the environment" is just a means to their ideological ends.
Shit's already intiated, it's called "The Patriot Act". I'm sure as US citizens, you've heard of it. It's the first domino in a long line before a dictatorship. Please for the love of god, don't be crooked. There are so many crooked cops in my neck of the woods, I fucking hate how they think 'rule of law' doesn't apply to them.I wonder how many new laws are passed each day and how many are taken out... Eventually this country might suck if it already doesn't. I won't be surprised if I won't be allowed to eat some ice cream on the side walk without being b**** slapped by the law.
Surprisingly I am going to be a cop. It doesn't mean I have to agree with some of the country's ethics.
