6k is good and visible. it better then my 8k and 10k because they are visible when the weather get worse so keep that in mind. i couldnt see good still with 8 and10k on rainy day but i use 10k just for dry day kuz it look clean at night =)

you should be fine with 35W. 55W tend to be 40% brighter as i am hearing for the same Kelvin temperature. im not exactly sure but on my FA5 i would need another harness in order to get the necessary power to work 55W kits. good luck on finding a kit.

kits can range from as simple as $30-$300. depending if its relayed ones or plug n' play (PnP). ddmtuning sells at the lower end, but quality isnt guaranteed. then you have some in the middle like ONEX, APEX, and so on till you get to Xenondepot and such.

New and fresh.
I have 6000K but recently I've been thinking about a retrofit for more output.

4300K will put out the most visible light.

The spectrum goes from yellows at the low end, to blue at 8kK-10kK with 15kK-20kK going into reddish tint and 25kK+ going into reddish/violet.

4000K-5000K is the purest light with the most visible output.

most carriers dont even sell kits after 12K which is probably a good thing. i shake my head everytime i see someone with pink HID's. never red though, but i can imagine how quickly you get pulled over. in less than 2 sconds.

typically about 12000K+ are off road use only.

BBHG.. one love.
^yeah that's true. a lot of people use tsx projectors as well. i hope to do a retrofit soon, but it's not too cheap. i like my 8k's but the cut off sucks and i know those + my yellow fogs probably piss off oncoming drivers. but yeah i would definitely rip off those 15k's you have and get 4500k-6000k and no higher. or dish out the cash for retrofits. if you're lucky you can find a good deal on some headlights that someone already retrofitted.

perfect article..

S2K > SC430 > TSX

the SC430 projectors are pretty much sisters to S2K projectors. made by the same company. but the quality of the S2K being much better.

? NO. the S2K can light up atleast 7-8 lanes while the TSX lights up 4-5. the cutoff does differ though. S2K bends a little downwards towards the end of the cutoff. while the TSX passenger side bends upwards.
