Man...For me to even express to you the joy you brought to me with this thread build, it is not possible. I just read every single page of your build detail for detail. The only time I took a break was to change my pants a few times...lol. Your car is amazing you have inspired me to stop being a puss and fix up my teggys and spend the money on them that they deserve. You honestly deserve an award, MAD PROPS. Curious have you ever thought about shooting to get into a magazine?

Thanks, its always nice to hear stuff like that. I have thought about it, but honestly come this winter I am changing things up again on the car haha. It will be getting another paint job (going with a different color), some different wheels and such

Haha I know, I know. Don't worry there are more coming tonight as I am about to head out to the local track in about a half hour to do some test and tuning

Went to the track tonight, car went 13.5@109mph on 195.50.15 Kumho tires, not bad for 6psi and street tires on a notoriously slow track. My 60 ft times were in the 2.3's. My trap speed was faster then cars going 12.90s

7/2/11: After my first time at the track and hitting 2.2-2.4 60ft times, I knew traction was going to be an issue haha. My dad also apparently knew this was an issue so he tracked down a set of slicks for a crackhead price and picked them up for me (I gotta pay him back, FML haha). Anyways I am the new owner of a set of 24.5x9x13 Hoosier slicks, they previous owner did 3 passes on them on his FWD DSM and they look brand new so I am pretty happy. Now I gotta find some wheels to mount these on. I really want Welds but 300+ plus per rim is kinda out of the price range at the moment...

and a good set of lightweight drag wheels i have this, its a sample pic though, they're made by exospeed, but they make nicer models too
