Oh he loves daddy's car. You put him in it when he's fussy, crack vtec he shuts right up and then goes to sleep due to the loud ass exhaust lol. Between me, my dad, and my gf's brothers...my kid has no option but to appriciate cars lol

Yeah he's growing up quickly for sure. It runs right now lol, but as far as when I think i'll have it boosted and tuned, I am shooting for end of april, maybe sooner depending on funds. It'd be nice if I could pick up a sponsorship on some parts like injectors or something lol. I was going through reciepts the other night and im up to damn near 20k just in reciepts

Yea, i wouldnt say it's strayed me away from my build but this one has definitely gave me insight on changing minor things on mine...

I would change some things on this build myself honestly. I would've went 81mm, maybe 82mm bore instead of the 84. I would've went with a Golden Eagle headgasket (they use OEM gaskets just bored to your bore size). I know i'm forgetting a couple other things I would've change haha.

yea i myself, im sticking with the stock 81mm type r pistons, i dont want to go too outlandish. just simple yet right. and yea, im going with the GE kit...i do have a question though, that moroso oil pan, does it come prebuilt with the oilpan baffles?

Whats your power goals and budget? That would let me give you better advice if or if not I agree with yoursetup. I did comment on a few things on your list though. Is this going to be an all motor build or boost? What are you going to do for transmission i.e LSD

I don't have a real budget set out for it, this is going to be a long project that im just going to pick up over time. if i do it for cheap awesome, if it costs me 10k over 2 years than so be it. but im def not going to cheap out on parts..im going all motor and looking to get somewhere in the range of 215-225 wheel.

if i decide to go boost later then im either going to get another car or just rebuild it for low comp.

So what are the cons of blox? i havent really seen anything bad about them. As far as the trans goes, there is a somewhat local tuner that rebuild trans and throws in i believe to be mfactory (could be wrong on brand) LSD for 800 seems a little cheap to me but i know people whos had him do it. buddy of mine has a GSR trans done by him and lets just say the thing is stout.

just noticed you used laskey for your build, did you do the full build plan on the block and head? they are who im gonna be going through for my gsr motor when i start on it
