grinding noise when moving

How exactly do I check for this? Ive been told once you disassemble the hub/steering knuckle that the seal that the seal is pulled off, ruining the bearing, or something like that. If this is true, I don't want to disassemble it if the noise could potentially be an axle bearing instead. HELLLPPP!!!!!!!!

So i jacked the front of my car up and spun both wheels. They both make a slight grinding noise when turned but here's the thing, the noise amplifies when i turn the wheel around and hit a certain angle, lets say at 270 degrees. This corellates to the pulsating noise the car makes when I drive it. Again, rotors look good. Noise is certainly coming from hub assembly. But

It's natural to hear grinding when spinning the wheel while its jacked up. You could just hear your pads scraping the rotor.

I am an HVAC/R Technician by trade. Ive been doing it for several years. When I google parts or tools I need, I ALWAYS run across those "how to" guides. A disturbing amount of those "how to" guides miss key steps and a couple - if not, a few- of those steps are incorrect. So who knows how many of those guides for "how to fix your car" are right and how many are wrong? I'd rather appear to be dumb sh*t retard on this forum and ask repetitive questions, than follow some bullsh*t guide on google and smash my face into my windshield because I can't drive my car anymore.

You look at multiple guides or get a Honda factory repair manual.

Cross reference guides. If you see 3 and they all say the same thing, then logically its correct.
Also comments can be helpful. Of a guides misses an important step the commenters usually say so.

Sometimes thats the best thing you can do, tear your own car apart and find out what it is. But I would tend to think just by you description of the noises I would check the wheel bearings. As soon as you get the brake caliper/mounting bracket off and rotor the hub will be at you sight so you then just take ahold of the hub and see if it moves then that will tell you if its the bearing or hub, hopefully its the bearings which isnt a bad job just a bit of a time consuming job. but after that you will know what your brakes look like and what goes on up front...jmo...but good luck to you
