Just thought id throw in some teaser pics of my project.
USDM 1994 Integra RS Sedan 5MT
Stock B18B1
Bought stock for $1200, rebuilt title
Radiator support bent, condenser smashed.
New gaskets from the headgasket up.
Blows blue smoke.
Currently replacing valve stem seals with felpro viton valve stem seals.
Head is removed, I happened to drop a valve while trying to do a valve stem seal job with the head on lol.
I happened to also lose a set of valve keepers, ordered oem and still waiting on them.
Mean time already invested $500 in parts, tools and etc.
*55w HID kit with ballasts and 5000k 9006 bulbs
-ordered a set of 55w 8000k H1 bulbs
*Pair of black halo projectors with chrome hi beams
-didn't read product description and later found out the lo beams are H1 bulbs. FML.
-stock headlights are blurred and cracked, garbage and not worth restoring.
will be chopping off the lo beam projectors and creating some kind of fog light kit or save for future mods.
*Mugen replica front lip
*Pair of Amber bumper lights
*Pair of Yellow oem replica foglight projectors
As of right now, not many mods will go into the motor, I plan on turbocharging the b18b without doing a lsvtec head swap with a standalone ecu and forged internals with p&p, supertech valve train. Looking for a daily driven 350whp kanjo monster.
If any mods go into the motor soon it would probably be a 3" straight pipe with a varex muffler.
For now I will focus on the exterior, looking into the possibility of just buying ebay lowering springs until I can afford some coilovers.
Mainly repairing all the dents then the car will ride for a about a month until the weather warms up so I can paint a fresh coat of paint/clear.
Enough talk. Pics.
You know you like what to see.
I am not new to the honda scene or unfamiliar with tasteful mods.
Though I was always a single slammer fan, the on demand power from a twincam is quite addictive.
Yet I am still convinced investing 2000+ for a vtec equipped motor is nonsense when I can easy obtain double the stock power numbers at the same cost on a non vtec motor.
Car is my daily driver ( not ATM if you can't tell lol )
I have had cbs, efs, and ka8s
Currently own a 91 ef sedan 5MT.
Hopefully as soon as I get it sold it will be funding my high compression turbo build.
That is all for now.
