Just thought id throw in some teaser pics of my project.

USDM 1994 Integra RS Sedan 5MT
Stock B18B1

Bought stock for $1200, rebuilt title

Radiator support bent, condenser smashed.

New gaskets from the headgasket up.

Blows blue smoke.

Currently replacing valve stem seals with felpro viton valve stem seals.
Head is removed, I happened to drop a valve while trying to do a valve stem seal job with the head on lol.

I happened to also lose a set of valve keepers, ordered oem and still waiting on them.

Mean time already invested $500 in parts, tools and etc.

*55w HID kit with ballasts and 5000k 9006 bulbs
-ordered a set of 55w 8000k H1 bulbs

*Pair of black halo projectors with chrome hi beams
-didn't read product description and later found out the lo beams are H1 bulbs. FML.
-stock headlights are blurred and cracked, garbage and not worth restoring.
will be chopping off the lo beam projectors and creating some kind of fog light kit or save for future mods.

*Mugen replica front lip

*Pair of Amber bumper lights

*Pair of Yellow oem replica foglight projectors

As of right now, not many mods will go into the motor, I plan on turbocharging the b18b without doing a lsvtec head swap with a standalone ecu and forged internals with p&p, supertech valve train. Looking for a daily driven 350whp kanjo monster.

If any mods go into the motor soon it would probably be a 3" straight pipe with a varex muffler.

For now I will focus on the exterior, looking into the possibility of just buying ebay lowering springs until I can afford some coilovers.

Mainly repairing all the dents then the car will ride for a about a month until the weather warms up so I can paint a fresh coat of paint/clear.

Enough talk. Pics.

You know you like what to see.

I am not new to the honda scene or unfamiliar with tasteful mods.
Though I was always a single slammer fan, the on demand power from a twincam is quite addictive.

Yet I am still convinced investing 2000+ for a vtec equipped motor is nonsense when I can easy obtain double the stock power numbers at the same cost on a non vtec motor.
Car is my daily driver ( not ATM if you can't tell lol )

I have had cbs, efs, and ka8s

Currently own a 91 ef sedan 5MT.

Hopefully as soon as I get it sold it will be funding my high compression turbo build.

That is all for now.

I am Don Julio.

Managed to mount both front headlights and wire in my halos.

Fogs are also wired in with relays and oem style fog light switch.

Will hopefully have my bumper mounted by early next week, as soon as my valve keepers and head dowel pins arrive I can get the car running again and slowly work on all the dents.

When people say don't lose your valve keepers. Don't lose them! Lol always easier said than done.

I had to order half a set of keepers oem online because no one stocks that crap.

Part costed me $2, shipping cost me $15. I don't see why it wasn't send priority mail fml.

I managed to ghetto install all 8 exhaust valve stems and springs.

I will complete the intake side as soon as the sun rises.

I also had my h1 8000k 55w hid kid installed. The light output is ridiculous. Night is literally day.

Hopefully my complete torque wrench set comes in tomorrow so I can properly install the heads and cams.

All valvesprings are in. Rocker arms are in place.

Factory service manual torque sequence for cam shaft holders and cylinder head bolts are printed out.

Baby's crib has arrived and my torque wrenches have not.

I work in a couple hours and the installation will be put on hold.

I do not wish to continue further until I purchase assembly lube and microfiber cloths to wipe off the dust and dirt all the parts have collected and can't push myself to finish the install with motor oil.

For now here are some pics.

My torque wrenches have arrived.

Install time is expected to be start by tomorrow morning.

I expect the car to be running by Monday next week at latest.

I am certain all the parts will be installed, plugs, hoses, etc.

The only delay is I do not have a day off till Monday.

The only remaining issues are to flush coolant, change oil, spark plugs, valve lash, and set timing.

I don't f*** around. Ha.

Expect a full turbo build 6 months from now. If everything goes as planned I will be running a standalone ems.

Looking for a full forged, supertech valvetrain, delta cams, bisi cam gears, 350whp safe street tune.

I don't know how my wife puts up with me constantly working on my car.

If only she was a greasemonkey like me haha. Some day.

I got off at work late, ran to walmart and grabbed disposable gloves, shop towels, RTV high temp silicone gasket maker, and microfiber rags.

Cleaned off all the rocker arms and camshafts.

I didn't find assembly lube but screw it haha. I went ahead and used motor oil for lube.

All bolts lubed and installed snug, applied gasket maker to the exhaust camshaft plug and letting it cure overnight.

I will begin to torque all camshaft cap bolts to specs sometime tomorrow.

I also need to run to ace hardware and source (2) 5mm punched to align the camshafts at TDC and torque on the cam gears.

I might have to run brake cleaner over the cam gears. They are covered in oil.

I'm still in a rush to get this car running by Sunday.

I plan on getting it running and front reassembled by late Saturday afternoon.

Wife unfortunately works graveyard and my work schedule conflicts with us only having one vehicle while my cars in limbo.

Fingers crossed. If I have to I might not sleep Saturday night.

This is an update pic, I'll try to keep this build picture heavy.

Why are you gonna torque the cam caps down with the head off the car? Gonna have to come back off anyways. In a pinch you can also just use a crescent wrench to hold the cam in place to torque the cam gears. There is a hex to grab onto. I would definitely give the gears a good bath if they are soaked in oil. What area are you in? If I wasnt busy I'd offer to come by and help get that all knocked out lol.

Ah they are just hand tightened, I'm actually cleaning my block right now getting ready to put on the head.

Haha bro you wish. I'm in Wenatchee, wa.

About 2 1/2 hrs from Seattle, further from tacoma. But I do regularly visit tacoma and Arlington pick n pulls around summer time.

Our cars are nearly twins
haha radiator support bent as well? Jk

94RS

No fucks given.
Actually, yeah a little bit

Both are white 94 RS', black mirrors/trim, and I should have a 94 bumper with yellow fogs soon, already have black housing headlights waiting to go in it. Mine is a coupe with an aftermarket moonroof though.

Haha close enough. I plan on pulling the rad support off when I have the funds for a turbo build. Also plan on removing ac completely since it's broken and selling parts for funds.

I actually do not wish to have a moonroof, I might not need the extra chassis stiffness as if I'm going to the track but knowing it's there is good news. If anything down the line I want to try to fit 2 rectangular windows that pop up like rear quarters on the coupes on my roof.

It's kind of a kickback retro theme I'm into ha.

I need power locks and windows, everything else I don't need.

Update!!!!

I sheered off my exhaust cam gear bolt. Stupid acehardware drill but can't even penetrate the bolt.

Id post a picture but you all know what this crappy situation looks like.

Back to the hardware store.

Things are getting ridiculous.

I managed to find a better drill bit, install the stud extractor and proceeded to remove the stud and wham.

The hardened steel extractor broke off in the stud.

Now the only option is to take it to a shop and have them drill out the stud and retap it.

DonJulio

Have you tried a left hand drill bit?
The extractor came as a kit with a right hand drill bit for the pilot hole and the extractor was left handed.

I'll have to find my power drill, grab a larger drill bit and drill out the whole stud.

Then retap and find another bolt.
