Does strut bars help?

Mr. Line was cleverly voicing his displeasure with the verbiage you used in "Sick I'm getting some sick freshy ones for 50 bucks both of them", and furthermore calling into question the level of intelligence you may posses.
The amusement comes in later with your reply to Mr. Line in which it becomes obvious you did not notice the slight poke towards your intelligence he made.
LOL win!
No one can know if you're paying too much until we know the brand.
x2..I paid ~$400 shipped for my Vision (Spoon) bars for my DB2 and then you hear of guys finding bars for under a hundred bucks..sometimes it's just a good deal, others it's reflective of quality and we won't be able to determine which applies to you without knowing what freshy bars you're looking at.

Because they look like second-hand cheap stuff. Probably not superior quality at all. You should be the one who makes the final decision. Try meeting up and if you like what you see, drop your money. I'd say go for a more honest buy online, with some brand that's trusted.

Shut up baby, I know it!
waste of money unless your car does SCCA time or auto cross, you will not see a difference in handling on the street from a strut tower brace

Pretty much what the last couple guys said. They are cheap, so they aren't exactly built to make any kind of difference. They are mostly sold just to make a car look cool. I would know, I have a cheap ebay set in my car. They will flex under the pressure of me pushing down on them hard, so what would make me think they could handle the amount of pressure a car would put on them and still function the way they are supposed to be used? Basically you're paying $50 for shiny metal that adds some character to your car. Honestly, there's nothing wrong in that, but some people like to give other people a hard time about it.

Like anyone will ever tell you, it's your car, do what makes you happy.
