thanks for the comments guys/ gals..haha well maybe us locals can go meet up sometimes, and probably go to the track, i haven't been there in a while.. I would like to see what my car runs in its shitty, untuned stage HAHA.. I really want to get some 16's in a few months, still deciding on what to pick.. the Buddy club P1 racing SF challenge seems nice in black and red.. or maybe some gold Rotas D2? Also GT3's were always sexy to me

I am currently saving up to replace my current head with a better condition 99 LS head sitting in my garage.. debating if I should go with oversized valves for my set up.. it would be pretty sexy

def the buddy clubs over the ROTAs hands down.
oversized valves will only help you if you have over 11.5 compression. at 10.something it will only hinder you. you're not really revving that high are you?

i was thinking about reving it to around 7500? or maybe to where ever it stops making power on the dyno. If oversize valves would make a decent difference than i am willing to get it done.. what you guys think? would oversize valves change my compression ratio?

hey guys, what would be a good throttle body size for my set up? i was thinking maybe 64mm is a bit too small? also i was thinking of maybe going up to Crower 404's since everyone else is having good things to say about them.. Also, is it possible to degree the cams by just lining up the holes on the camshafts with the hole on the cam cap? (if you guys know what i am talking about XD)

also installed a Ingalls engine damper today that i bought used for 70, it's still in good condition too. felt some differences in the shifting, haven't tried launches yet with it though but overall not too bad, i like it.

CMI on April 5th!!!! too bad my car won't be done by then, hopefully i can make it to the CMI event in may.

yeah i can't wait to get the build finished also. right now i have the funds but i dont have another daily driver to get around town and to work, so i can't work on swapping a new head in yet. but once i do i can finally get it running properly and tuned with hondata

heres a pic with my engine damper installed, installation was a breeze lol

Wait... What?
nice engine bay man. i would stay away from a larger throttle body unless the one you have now is hindering you. you could end up with worse throttle response.

yeah i was just thinking that 64mm should be enough for around 170whp that i am hoping to ATLEAST make. i was also thinking of getting ITB's for the motor later on down the line when it will become my weekend warrior, i will definitely keep you guys updated for that haha

as for the engine bay, i love tucking haha but i am too lazy to get it fully done so i just went and do a few easy tucking of things. I also wanted to know if a 12" slim fan would be able to fit on the front side of my half size radiator, or should i just get a 10"? anyone done this already?
