lol maybe down the road. Im just goin to do this stock n/a one. I will probably get another 2.4 block and stock some SRT internals in it, then boost it

I feel you man, it's nice to just have a normal car with a little more balls instead of a bunch of power houses. Especially with the current economic situation.

I know, gas went up another 3 cents around here today..Im not goin to run the intake manifold I was goin to use now, nor the EGR block off or mopar ECU. I have to run 93 if I was, so its all goin to be stock

Well the rear disk swap is complete,all ive got to do is get the rotors resurfaced and bleed the brakes.
my rear lateral arms were seized, after alot of prying, banging, heating and cussing, I used a oem jack pryed between the 2, after bending them, one sorta became loose. But not loose enough to remove. I had to cut the bolt out from under the car. Before I did that thou, I had to drop the gas tank so I didnt die or set the house on fire.
Well, here it is




Also Started to mock up parts on the engine, while I wait on my SRT oiling system, rod bolts and new pistons/rods. Only reason I got new pistons/rods was they were cheap as shit. The ones I have now are fine thou. What sucks about swapping to a 2.4 is when they are in the stratus/ cirrus...w/e. the power steering and alternator is opposite from this pic. so I have to swap them



And Im using the trunk of the neon as a work bench

I thought you swapped disk brakes, those look like drums to me. Oh yea, your cam gears rock, they're so big. :)

Go ahead, I know alot of people remove it on the 2.3 mazda motor, they say it really doesn't free up any hp (maybe 1-2) but people say they can feel the difference in the motor, especially at higher rpm.

Well I bought some feeler guages and a crankshaft sproket puller tool...ill never use it again


Brand new OEM rodbolts came into the dealer as well





Old oil pump is removed and I pulled the Balance shaft chain out.
