Check oil light

Oil pressure should be I think 10 psi at idle and 50 psi at 3000 rpms. You might also just need a oil pressure switch, who knows really there is actually a lot of things that can add up to be low oil pressure.

yup like this guy said, it might just be a bad oil pressure switch,, looks like this

one time my oil light came on and i thought i was Fck'd ,, turned out to be that the wire going into the oil pressure switch went loose and was grounded on some metal making my oil light come on...check that

i just replaced the oil pressure sensor and the light still comes on.

by dropping the oil pan. But before you do this id check the wire from your switch first. see if its shorted out first.
